She hosts intimate one-day reset retreats in the Hudson Valley and offers private coaching for those ready to deepen their energy, embodiment, and authentic connection.
Rebecca enjoys adventuring with her husband and their dog between their homes in New York City, the Hudson Valley, and beyond. Rebecca has built a life she loves, rich with movement, creativity, and deep connection.
Rebecca is the author of The Wisdom of Dance and the forthcoming children's companion book The Wisdom of Dance for Kids: A Fun Guide to Dance Your Way to Better Focus, Friendship, and Feelings.
Her Background
Rebecca holds a Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University and studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2006 and at the Health Coach Institute in 2023. She's a certified JourneyDance teacher and PHDJ graduate from Powerhouse DJ School's intensive embodied leadership program.
For over 20 years, Rebecca has worked with and led Sharzer Associates, a family educational consulting company serving NYC schools. Representing The School Wellness Project, she integrates movement and wellness into academic settings.
Through her philanthropic partnership with "Wellness In The Schools" - a separate nonprofit organization - Rebecca has supported their mission for over 10 years. This nonprofit provides movement programming, whole foods in public school cafeterias, and food education to NYC schools, reaching over 1 million students. The city has now allocated almost $8 million for Wellness In The Schools to continue this vital work in every public school across New York City.
